Some people find that having a coach or personal trainer is the best way to keep their motivation high. Of course, not everyone can afford to hire a personal trainer, but if you can afford one, consider this option. Or perhaps you can save some money for a couple of sessions with a personal trainer or long enough for you get your motivation level back up again. Another, less costly option is to take exercise classes. If the person leading the exercise class is good, you're going to be motivated to work out in a group setting.

Visualization can be a strong motivator when used properly with your exercise routine. Workout with an idea in mind of how you want to feel and look some day. Visualize yourself at your ideal weight or try imagining yourself looking exactly how you want to look. In addition to mental images, make sure that you give yourself constant reminders that you stand to benefit from exercising regularly. Go ahead and write down this reminder and then post it where you can see it every day. Some people even take pictures of themselves every week or couples of weeks and post the most recent one on their dresser, bathroom mirror, or fridge -- they see how far they're progressing and it pushes them to continue exercising.
